When can I go?
The electives run for 5 weeks. 4 weeks are spent in Saragur with SVYM, and 1 week in Mysore at the Green Hotel. If your time is limited, you can skip the week in Mysore; this reduces the cost by £100. Students who wish to stay additional weeks with SVYM are welcome to do so. This is charged at an additional rate of £125 per week (which is a charitable donation to SVYM).
The SVYM elective programme runs each month of the year, with two people taken on each month. Therefore, applications are taken and considered throughout the year.

* Aug 3rd - Sept 6th 2009 (Two places remaining)
* Sept 7th - Oct 11th 2009 (Two places remaining)
* Oct 5th - Nov 8th 2009 (Two places remaining)
* Nov 2nd - Dec 6th 2009 (Two places remaining)
* Dec 7th 2009 - Jan 10th 2010(Two places remaining)
SVYM electives usually start on the first Monday of the month. However, if you wish to start on a different date, contact us and we will try to arrange it.
If the dates in which you wish to do your elective are marked as '(FULL)', we would encourage you to do your placement with ASHWINI instead (See 'Electives with ASHWINI', from the MSE home page.)
